Oyinkan is a Nigerian-British novelist and writer. Her first novel, My Sister, The Serial Killer, was published in 2018 to wide acclaim. It was a Sunday Times bestseller, longlisted for The Booker Prize, shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction, and won the Crime and Thriller Book of the Year in the British Book Awards 2020.

Lee Child is one of the world’s leading thriller writers. He was born in Coventry, raised in Birmingham, and now lives in England’s Lake District. It is said one of his novels featuring his hero Jack Reacher is sold somewhere in the world every nine seconds. His books consistently achieve the number-one slot on bestseller lists around the world and have sold over one hundred million copies. Lee is the recipient of many awards including Author of the Year at the 2019 British Book Awards. He was appointed CBE in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours.
This September celebrates ten years of the MA in Crime Writing at UEA. To mark the occasion, the Sainsbury Centre will host the annual Noirwich lecture, led by Sunday Times bestseller, Oyinkan Braithwaite. Followed by an in conversation event with international bestseller, and writer of the Jack Reacher series, Lee Child. The event will be rounded off with the anthology launch and a drinks reception.

This event will be held at the Sainsbury Centre, Norwich. The Sainsbury Centre’s autumn season wrestles with one of the darkest and deadliest aspects of humanity: Can We Stop Killing Each Other?
The event will end at 8pm, followed by a drinks reception.
