Divinity Professor and author Kate Bowler joins us from the US to share her memoir, No Cure for Being Human, which explores how we can find beauty, meaning and truth without having to pretend that life is always getting better, with author and UEA Professor of Medical and Health Humanities, Christie Watson.

Kate Bowler is the New York Times bestselling author of Everything Happens for a Reason and her TED talk on the topic has over 9 million views to date. Her latest book, No Cure for Being Human, is a visceral and insightful personal story of a Divinity Professor coming to terms with what life really means, after being diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. She lives in North Carolina, US.
